~ My Lauren ~

These pictures were taken after church a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to share them with you. I can not believe how quickly the 9 years of Lauren's life have flown by! I am in a Bible study right now for mothers with daughters. I am learning so much from it. Some of it is self reflection. As I look at these two pictures of Lauren and I; I am reminded she is watching me every move. That is so scary to me!!! I truly want her to be a person who strives daily to have a committed relationship with God and one who puts others before herself.

Love, Shaina

I can't believe it. My sweet little Lauren turned 9! Wow! Where does the time go? We celebrated with a swim party at Burton Pools and Spas. It was really kinda crazy. The weather was nuts. We ate pizza, then there was a small time frame to swim. The kids swam for about 30 minutes. That was it because it was stormy and there was seriously 30 minutes when there was no lightning. Then it was on to the cookie cake decorated with a bright peace sign. I guess "peace" is the thing these days. All she wanted was stuff with peace signs on it. Purses, clothes, necklaces...

Ok, so when we bought our computer we did not get a printer. Real bummer for me! It was driving me crazy I could not print coupons or make creative things. Plus it seemed Lauren was always wanting to print something. T and I had talked about buying one, but just never broke down and did it. Well, at last, the right one has come along. I went into K-Mart of all places. I never go in there, but I did. There it was!! My HP printer originally $99.99 marked down to $40.00!!! I could not believe it. Was this a mistake? I found the man working in electronics and asked him if it was correct and he assured me it was not a mistake. So what did I do? Scooped that bad boy up of course? I was so thrilled!! What a great savings. It might not be the newest model out there, but good enough to print my coupons! :) It works like a charm too! I have already tried it out. It pays to be patient!!
